Construction Awareness Map Columbus, Ohio Capital Area Transportation Authority   DLZ was selected to provide wide ranging construction management and global logistics services to assist the University with its complex, fast-track program of infrastructure improvements. This task-order agreement requires DLZ to provide coordination of multiple concurrent infrastructure construction projects; traffic, parking, and MOT recommendations; web-based and social media communications to multiple stakeholders; cost estimating; constructability reviews, and conformance evaluations. To reduce the impact caused by the unprecedented infrastructure construction on campus, DLZ developed the online construction awareness map to display real-time and upcoming construction impacts in an easy to use web format designed to raise the awareness of those activities. By utilizing advanced online mapping technology and cloud platform, a cost effective solution was developed in months that enabled more than 40 project managers to enter construction impact data quickly using a web-based interface and publish the data to the public with just a few clicks.
